Hey everyone! I have been really tired lately (hello 7th month of pregnancy!) but I have still been managing to get a lot done!
But FIRST I have a few projects that I have finished in the last few months to share! Mostly to have a record of them here on my blog. (:
First up are these adorable chicken pillows! We had a challenge for my Quilt Group last month to make an envelope pillow cover. And if you know me you know I tend to go all out! So instead of making one (because who wants one pillow on their couch?!) I made four!
I used the Mama Hen pattern by Lori Holt. It is in her book Farm Girl Vintage if you're interested in making one! The fabric I used is by Fig Tree & Co, but I forgot which line it was! (;
They were really fun to make and I love how they turned out!
Next up is my Spelling Bee quilt (slightly modified) by, you guessed it, Lori Holt! (; Can you tell she is my favorite? This one was a STRUGGLE to make. I had a hard time making the quilt measure the same at the top, and at the bottom BUT my Mom is a miracle worker and it ended up working out and looks amazing! This was the Christmas quilt for my first daughter.
This is the Chip Dip quilt from the local quilt shop. It's a stack-n-wack (I think that's what you call it). I cut all the pieces out at the same time and then pieced it together. This was for my second daughter for her Christmas quilt also.
This is the Cozy Christmas quilt by Lori Holt (; I made the top two years ago but it took me forever to get a back for it. Not sure why... But I love how it turned out, the quilting my Mom did on it is amazing!
This is the super fun Moda Love quilt pattern! It was so STINKIN easy and turns out so so cute. I made the baby quilt size and used one charm pack. I love how the colors are grouped together. I can see many more of these in my future!
And a few days late... my Shamrock table topper! ๐ Do you see the cute little shamrocks my Mom quilted on it?! I love that she adds special little touches like that.
And there are a few of my finishes! Hopefully I can share more soon.
Until next time! ๐
