Quilting, Baby Update and More!

Hello!!! Man it's been awhile! I started off this week doing some stitching on my Quilters Cottage Cross Stitch! This pattern is by Lori Holt (and if you know me you know I LOVE Lori Holt!) and can be found on the Fat Quarter Shop website here. You will find the instructions there and the supplies you need for it. (: I really really love the larger count fabric. At first I wasn't certain about it but now I love the look!

Next up is this AMAZING Harry Potter Sew Along hosted by Kelli Fanni of the blog Seriously I Think It Needs Stitches. I have always loved Harry Potter! I am definitely a Potterhead as they say. I grew up reading the books and really believe that is where my love of reading came from. This week was the Hedwig Block for the HOQSal2019. She was a bit of a struggle but I got through it!

The last two weeks have been Harry, and the Cupboard Under the Stairs blocks.

Next up is my Baby Moda Love quilt! This is a free pattern that can be found on the Moda website and can be made with a charm pack and some background fabric. It went really fast and was easy to put together. Just make sure you square up your HSTs! (: It makes it much easier to put together!

Baby #3 Update!

I'm due June 2nd with our third baby! And while we are very excited about this, I have been having some complications with the pregnancy. I found out I have a fibroid (a tumor of muscle, tissue, and blood) on the outside of my uterus. It is the size of a grapefruit and has continued to grow throughout my pregnancy. Today we unfortunately found out that it will result in a c-section and then an additional surgery to remove the fibroid after the baby is born. BUT baby boy is doing great and growing just as he should be so that is a blessing! (:

That's all for this week!

Talk to you soon! (:

-Have you had a c-section?
